Made from Cornish tarred sisal, this strong smelling extremely tough quarter inch rope is decorated with a variety of knots and splicing methods.  
At the top:
Wall knot half hitched handle and a flemish eye splice base.
Next:
Splice at top and bottom with tarred marline whipping.
Bottom:
Eye splice (polite name) with Flemish eye splice at the bottom with various traditional whipping methods.
