Made from light brown waxed hemp cord (far left). Approx, 4” long.
Also in colours: multicoloured/ yellow/ white/ blue/ tarred marline/ red/ green in cord and sizes to order.
Sailors used these on their watch chains and some variations were also used as a cosh.
